Stacey Galvin is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. She enjoys helping her clients process life transitions such as retirement, divorce, menopause, age-related health issues, grief and loss, and other life events and relationship changes. Using a combination of evidence-based treatment methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused therapy, Mindfulness techniques and Family Systems Therapy, she helps her clients find strength and meaning while navigating life’s challenges. 

Stacey’s vast work in the field includes adults and teens experiencing anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, poor boundaries, communication problems, and codependency. Her approach is holistic, spiritually rooted, strength-based, and non-judgmental. She focuses on each individual’s unique abilities and motivations, while helping to identify and process any limiting beliefs or dysfunctional patterns that can keep them feeling stuck.

Education & Experience

Stacey received her Master’s degree in Psychology from Chapman University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Irvine. She has been licensed by the state of California since 2003. In addition to private practice, her vast clinical experience includes community mental health agencies, residential treatment centers, and supervision and training of social work and therapy interns. In her free time, Stacey enjoys time with family in Huntington Beach.
