Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
Kelley Tokarski is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who works with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. She believes therapy should feel personalized, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. Kelley understands that no two people are the same, which is why she tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
In sessions, Kelley is warm, curious, and approachable, while also maintaining honesty with her patients. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves, exploring challenges openly, and gaining deeper insight into the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Her goal is to help clients build greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Her work integrates evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and mindfulness-based practices. Outside of the therapy office, Kelley enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, going for walks, and being with family and friends.
Experience & Education
Kelley earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University. Her clinical experience spans school-based, community mental health, and private practice settings, where she has worked with children, teens, adults, families, and groups.
