Nikki Sanchez understands that we all experience struggles and pain from time to time, and believes that no issue is too big or too small to process, reflect on, and grow from. Using a person-centered approach, Nikki collaborates closely with each client to explore treatment goals and develop a unique and beneficial treatment plan. She has vast experience in a wide array of evidence-based treatment modalities including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Exposure Therapy.
Education & Experience
Nikki earned her Master’s of Science degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Cal State Long Beach. Through career experience in partial hospitalization settings, Nikki developed a passion for treating trauma, autism spectrum disorders, relationship issues, and stress management, as well as unique expertise treating grief in adolescents and children. Through her experience studying trauma abroad, Nikki also gained insight into treatment of trauma, PTSD and anxiety through a cultural lens. Her specialization in this area fosters creativity and healing. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Nikki works with individuals, couples, and families.
